Collection 45 at 133 East 8th Ave
Collection 45 is a new condo building in Mount Pleasant, conveniently located at Main and East 8th, only a few blocks to the brewery district, Olympic Village, the best of Main St, the Canada Line Station at Cambie and Broadway, and more.
This building was completed in the fall of 2014 by MYIE Developments, with a total of 45 units ranging from small 450sqft studio condos to large 1400sqft penthouses with roof top decks. The unit has a very interesting architectural design which gives just about every unit a view of the city and Mountains. The building offers a party room with a kitchen, parking, bike storage and storage lockers (though not every unit has storage). There is also a dedicated arts and culture space, which will foster creativity and community by providing an affordable venue for local artists to show their work. The ground level of this building has some commercial spaces as well.
The finishings in this building are high end and quite neutral, giving the owners a chance to add their creative edge. The units have a great ceiling height of 9’4 up to 10′, with floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the light and the views. The bathrooms has Italian marble tiles, NuHeat heated floors, deep bathtubs, large showers and clean lines. The kitchen has wall-mounted lacquer cabinetry (either white of dark grey) with clean lines and hidden fixtures. Certain elements, including the refrigerator, are hidden from view behind cabinet façades. Other functional items—the cylindrical range hood in particular—are featured as sculptural centrepieces.
