East Vancouver has seen an influx of newer townhouse developments (with more coming) in the last few years, thanks to the burgeoning neighbourhoods and cheaper Eastside land values making the area more appealing to developers. These townhouse complexes are typically smaller, boutique style complexes with over 1000sqft per unit, often a large ground level or roof top patio, and (at least) two levels of space.
