Condos in East Vancouver showed a respectable 20% sales to active ratio. There was activity in every price bracket with the sub-$600,000 market performing best. The average and median price have been fairly steady in the mid to high $300,000 range, The East Van market is large, and that lends to a lot of different options for Buyers in terms of new vs old condos, different neighbourhoods and reno projects vs updated homes.

One of the most expensive East Van condo sales last month was this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, expansive 2000sqft Live/Work loft in Mainspace. This home was designed to take advantage of the views and the modern, industrial style interior including two large spa-like bathrooms and lots of attention to detail in the finishings. Then unit doesn’t have outdoor space, but the building has a large common roof top deck. Listed for $1,189,000, this home sold 46 days later for $1,192,000.
