Townhouses and Half Duplexes in East Van
The East Van townhouse and half duplex market had a strong 58% absorption rate last month thanks to significant interest and sales across every price point. This market saw 36% fewer sales than last year at this time, yet double the number of sales. Prices are, on average, in the low-$700k’s though price point would differ quite a bit between a typical townhouse and a typical half duplex.
Recent Townhouse and Half Duplex Sales in East Vancouver
One of the least expensive townhouses sold last month was this 532sqft studio unit in Uptown, a 2013 built building a few blocks from Main St. The unit has a private front door and front patio, along with high ceilings and a dedicated bedroom space tat could be opened up with the use of a murphy bed. The building has a gym, roof top deck, lounge, parking and storage.
One of the most expensive half duplexes sold in East Van last month was this 2335sqft, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Mount Pleasant – part of the soft is taken up by a 2 bedroom suite. This corner lot half duplex was built in 1982 but has an updated interior. The unit was originally listed for $1,189,000 and sold 45 days later for $1,094,000.
