East Vancouver Real Estate Agents
We’re going to be profiling our (growing!) Vancouver Real Estate team so you can put a personality to our names. We have six great agents, with lots of real estate experience and neighbourhood knowledge to go around. Contact us if you have any questions, or want to sit down and chat real estate. We offer a lot of cool services to our clients and are always willing to help you on your journey to buy your next home.
Here’s Elaine, the newest member of our team!
What makes you passionate about Real Estate? Where you choose to live and how you create and design the space is an extension of who you are. I love meeting people and getting a glimpse of who they are through this window.
Favourite part about working on a Real Estate Team? Being able to share our ideas and knowledge with each other helps us grow individually and as a group.
Favourite East Van Neighbourhood? Toss up between Main and Fraser. Grab a coffee at 49th Parallel and walk down Main. You can literally spend an entire day looking at antiques. Then head over to Fraser for some fantastic food. Personal favourites are Les Faux Bourgeois, Sal Y Limon, Earnest Ice Cream and Batard Bakery.
What’s your favourite hidden gem in East Vancouver? Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen on Victoria serves up the most flavourful fish cake dill pho. Its cash only and the line is long but its totally worth it.
Favourite Style of Design/Architecture? Minimalist modern. I’m drawn to clean lines, earthy elements like wood and concrete with bold colour accents.
Favourite Room in the House? The kitchen. I love to cook and eat. Having a good-sized kitchen island where everyone can gather around is a must for me.
Favourite app on your phone? PayByPhone! I don’t have to run out to feed the meter or worry about having coins on me.
Favourite thing to do on a day off? Hiking. My go-to is the Sea to Summit Trail in Squamish. Instead of taking the gondola up, hike it. The views are incredible and when you get to the top, you can watch the sun set with a glass a wine. It’s a great way to recharge and reset.
Favourite book? The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I have read this a dozen times or so and it’s a good reminder that we all have our own personal journey to fulfil.
Must have if you’re relocating to Vancouver? A good rain coat. Mine’s the swing coat with shawl hood from M0851. Its stylish, lined, waterproof and Made in Canada!
What’s one thing you would change about Vancouver? The rain. But it really makes you appreciate the sun.
Favourite part of being a Real Estate Agent? I love the negotiations. I get a surge of excitement when I know its all on the line.
Thoughts on the future of East Vancouver? There is so much potential as gentrification in many neighbourhoods is well under way. False Creek Flats is the next area to watch. It will be interesting to watch the different stages of development and the new community it will create.
