You’ve probably seen it as you’ve driven by the intersection of Main and 30th: The Riley, a 24 unit new development by Trafalgar Enterprises. Completed in 2012, this new condo building at Main and 30th in the Main district in East Van boasts condos/apartments/townhouses between $347,500 and $535,000 (if bought from the developer). Of the 24 units, 2 are townhouses and 22 are 1 bedroom condos or 2 bedroom condos.



The building is only 4 stories, and thanks to the topography of the area, the upper units have pretty fantastic views of the city and mountains which the developer tried to take advantage of. Some of the best units have outdoor space of almost 700sqft. Take a look at 2 floor plans for (currently) available units. The design lends a good flow to the space and makes the most of open living. My suggestion: ensure you get a parking stall with your unit – it’ll increase re-sale value and will be much more secure than parking on the street.

The Main Street Neighbourhood

You will enjoy living only a few blocks to the wonderful Queen Elizabeth Park and Hillcrest Community Centre (they have a pretty fantastic pool and gym). Also, some of the best new shops and restaurants on Main Street are between 9th and 30th, so you don’t have to go far for a delicious morning coffee or wonderful dinner.

GRUB on Main is not too far away at Main and 27th, and it’s a great place to go for dinners. Casual food done really well.

Cottage Bistro is a comfortable room offering jazz and other music nights and good food. The room is perfect when you want to warm up on those rainy days.

Dream Sushi at Main and 28th is a great place for sushi – they can use brown rice and the rolls are done well. Order it online so it’ll be ready when you go to pick it up!

  10. understand the Participant must at all times maintain a record of the name, telephone number and email address supplied by the Registrant, and the username and current password of each Registrant, such records to be kept for not less than 180 days after the expiration of the validity of the Registrant's password. If the Board/Association has reason to believe that a Participant's VOW has caused or permitted a breach in the security of the data or a violation of MLS® rules related to use by one or more Registrants, the Participant shall, upon request, provide to the Board/Association a copy of the record of the name, email address, telephone number, username, current password, and audit trail, if required, of any Registrant identified by the Board/Association to be suspected of involvement in the violation.
